10 am

 I put the valve on at 9.30 am and will switch off at 11.30 noon. 

PUMP was off and tank almost full. 

We have to be at the Baga retreat centre at 2 pm for registration. Sandra said to come to the Green Park junction at 1 pm. Then she will drive and Glenn can go back to MBBS. 

10 pm 

We reached safely. I was so nervous all the time. Weather here is great. 

Christine and I were allotted Room 9. It is outside the main area. View is lovely. We took some pictures. 

At 3.30 pm, we started with pnw then intro talk, tea, and two talks before dinner at 8 pm. The talks were:

1) Living the Call to Holiness.

2) Christian Womanly Character.

3) Healing The Wounds of the Spirit.

I did pnw before the third talk. After dinner, there was rosary and sharing in preparation for the chair therapy we have to do tomorrow morning in personal prayer from 6-7 am. We start with pnw at 7 am tomorrow. Off to bed now. Its pretty cold here at nights. Must remember to bring woolies next time.

[10/25, 09:07] AURIEL RIBEIRO SA: Long story. Even I don't know as I only came here three years ago. These five dogs were already here and being fed by members. Best person to answer is Joe.

[10/25, 09:13] AURIEL RIBEIRO SA: I started feeding only because I thought it was ok as others were doing so. Many feed them biscuits etc. Joe only feeds Rio but he may be giving biscuits to the others. I have not seen. Food only I feed twice a day. Manuela feeds leftovers in the night after feeding her pet dogs. Yday I didn't feed and will continue so we can get rid of them. My life has become a hell because of Rio n his bad behaviour on the road. One man almost came to hit me but his wife pulled him back. There were witnesses including panch member Sunita. Whenever I take my black dog Ebony for her walk, they all follow. I don't take them for walks as Joe said. They have accepted us as part of their pack. So they come with us to protect their 'girls'. I noticed that when I take Dane my male dog they don't follow me.

[10/25, 09:58] AURIEL RIBEIRO SA: If the dogs are not fed, they will scavenge but since food is scarce on roads this will lead to hunger which will make them feral. That means they will attack people to get food. Or they will just die of hunger. This is now their territory and they protect it. Once they go, we are open to new dogs coming. Sometimes NGOs dump strays from other areas into vacant territories although it is illegal to do so.
