Today I got to go for morning Mass and later to the Blessed Sacrament chapel. It was not open so I said my prayers outside and waited for it to be opened. I spent around 15 minutes praying for wisdom to conduct and present my points properly at the meeting. In the afternoon, I wrote down the agenda into the minutes book and prepared the columns for the signature of attendees.
Around 7.27 pm , I left for the meeting. I took my stool and Dr Aparajita also brought hers. Diogo brought a light which really helped the reading of the points. I also carried my eucalyptus oil and two others carried mosquito repellent tubes. When I reached there, Diogo and Rohan were already waiting. Diogo jokingly said that I was late, to which I replied by showing the clock on my mobile phone. 7.29 pm. In all, ten members attended. Vishram Kadam and Vera Ferrao were the last to come.
Mr Prakash started making sarcastic remarks right from the beginning. When Glenn brought the chairs, he commented, "Are we going to get samosas and vada pav also?" I kept quiet but couldn't resist a comeback when the Swiggy delivery boy passed us. I said, "Here comes the vada pav and chai."
The meeting started with the usual circus ring and I had to moderate it so many times that it was exhausting. I somehow managed to finish points on the agenda and then the floor was opened for grievances. Immediately Mrs Hema and Mr Prakash started attacking me and I got a chance to explain my actions. Mrs Vera told me outright that I was posting too many things on the group. Mr Prakash said that was the reason why he had left the group. I agreed to tone down. This gives me now leverage to post privately to those who require me to do so. I won't go into details as the minutes below 👇 suffice. The meeting started around 8 pm and ended by 9.30 pm. I was happy overall that decisions regarding water tanks and garage issues were resolved at least on paper.
