 Today is the feast of ST. VINCENT DE PAUL. He is known for his works of charity. That's why we have the parish association Society of SVP.


 Today, I went to check the sump tank water level before switching on the water valve. It was half full and the pump was off. So, I didn't SWITCH ON. I'll go after an hour to check again. 


As I was going to the pump area, I saw the compound lights on of both wings. Imagine that! So I penned a post to the building group:

Requesting members exiting from the building between 6-7 am to SWITCH OFF. The switch is on the wall as you exit. It is separate from the staircase ones.

Mrs Joanne Bassi sent me some pictures of their visit to the shrine of St Jean de Breduf. I saw my friend Mrs Branca and told Mrs Bassi to convey my regards to her. 
 


5.15 pm



Mr Prakash got the electrician to repair the compound lights in WING B. Total cost was Rs 761. Two bulbs were replaced. 



The Haier fridge and Panasonic microwave oven (that we had ordered) arrived today. What a task it was to unbox and check the contents especially the fridge as the cover had to be pulled out vertically. Anyway, both were fine. We took videos of both unboxings. The installation guys have to come now to demonstrate and then we can start using them. 

While Dan was pushing the fridge carton into their bedroom, he accidentally dashed the picture frame and it CRASHED! Now, we'll have to redo the glass. I made Aaron collect the shards carefully into a plastic bag and put it into a cardboard box. Once we have enough glass to dispose, I'll seal the box and hand it over to the garbage collector.

  This blog has been in utero for so long, I cannot believe that I am  finally doing it.   Let me explain. When I was a teenager, I used to write down everything I did into my personal diaries. I'd use foolscap books for this. On their pages, I would vent my frustrations and celebrate my achievements.   Finally spoke to Fr Francis about our family issues and he has said that the community wants that our children not be present at the table when they are eating. I've told Aaron and Daniel to stop. Kirsten's situation is more complicated so he has to go and speak separately. I've told him to do that asap. I've also told Glenn that he has to take the initiative to speak with Fr Francis.

  9.30 am Went for Mass with Aaron for his birthday. We had to go to Mapusa as Bastora church wa closed. We kept the bike at the car wash area as Aaron still hasn't got his driving licence.  I am going to call Dr Edison now as see if he can help me to get Rio rehomed on a farm. I earnestly hope he will be able to help. God willing. Don't want the poor chap to die because of his chasing bikes.  Put valve on. Took video of meter to show it's working.
